William Phillips Senr., purchased from John Anderson a tract of land, which remained in the family for over a hundred years, passing from William Sr., to his son William Jr., then to Ephraim, who willed it to his daughter, Mary Phillips, who married David Feaster. [1] He was a Freeholder. [1] He was a Deacon of the Church in Maidenhead/Lawrence Twp, Mercer, NJ. [1]
