At the request of Thomas Skinner of Charles Co planter the following deed was recorded 18 Jan 1720. Indenture 17 Dec 1720 between John Mellor of Charles Co tailer of the one part and Thomas Skinner of the same Co planter of the other part, for 10,325 lbs tobacco land called Doncaster originally granted unto Thomas Shuttleworth by patent date 26 Feb 1668 located in Chickamuxen in Charles Co. (description given) 200 acres. Also part of another tract called Aspinall's Chance originally on 22 Mar 1681 granted to Henry Aspinall for 210 acres. Signed John Mellor. At the request of Thomas Skinner of Charles Co the following deed was recorded 25 Jan 1725. Indenture 10 Aug 1725 from Thomas Hussey Luckett of Charles Co, planter, to Thomas Skinner of Charles Co, for 6000 lbs of tobacco and for divers other good causes, all that tract of land in Charles Co called Milern, originally granted to George Godfrey by patent dated 2 Jul 1669, and afterwards, by several conveyances and alienations of possession, became the right of the aforesaid Thomas Hussey Luckett. Said parcel of land lies at Chickamuxen and contains and is laid out for about 200 acres. Signed, Thomas Hussey Luckett. Wit: Thomas Stone, Joseph Harrison, Stephen Evans.
