    Notes
    • One of the founders of Beech Spring Church, along with "S. Dunlap, W. Watt, Henry Ferguson, Jessie Edgington, D. Welch, Esq., and William Harvey." [1]
    • He's identified as "John Miller of Redstone." That could refer to Redstone, the first Presbytery organized west of the Allegheny Mountains, a territory that embraces present counties of Westmoreland, Fayette, Armstrong, Indiana, Allegheny, Beaver, Washington, and Greene, and adjacent territoy including the panhandle of western Virginia, or that he came from Redstone township, Fayette County. Given that his assumed brother-in-law Philip Delaney also lived in Redstone, Fayette County, I believe it's the latter. [1]
